A quick check of the CPF housing grants a first-timer buyer may qualify for on a resale flat, with the published amounts. It applies the public rules to your answers - it is not advice, and the exact figure always comes from your HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter.

How this works

It assumes a first-timer household buying a resale flat and applies the published grant rules as of 2026 - second-timer, mixed first/second-timer, and non-citizen cases differ, and every amount is confirmed only in your HFE letter.

CPF Housing Grant (Family): 2- to 4-room $80,000 (both Citizens) or $70,000 (Citizen + PR); 5-room or larger $50,000 / $40,000; household income ceiling $14,000.

Singles Grant (Citizen, aged 35+, buying alone): 2- to 4-room $40,000, 5-room $25,000; income ceiling $7,000.

Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG): up to $120,000 (families) or $60,000 (singles), tiered by income up to a ceiling of $9,000 / $4,500 - HDB does not publish the per-income amounts, so this tool shows eligibility and the maximum only; your exact EHG is in your HFE letter, and it is pro-rated if the flat's lease will not cover the youngest buyer to age 95.

Proximity Housing Grant: living with family $30,000 (singles $15,000), or within 4km $20,000 (singles $10,000); no income ceiling.
